Outside of work I am an active member of the Leeds digital scene. I’m one of three of Leeds Girl Geek Dinners (http://lsx.co/girlgeeks) which has been running for 3 years. I also run a monthly social media advice session in Leeds (Social Media Surgery) which recently won the Prime Ministers Big Society award (http://www.socialmediasurgery.com) . Away from work and the Internet I am a keen cyclist and regularly take part in long distance charity bike rides. I’m also an avid reader - usually with several books on the go all at once.

I also have an interest in the Internet of Things and am currently learning to build and code using Arduino.
